Paris, France — The Mirabeau Bridge
The Mirabeau Bridge happened to be our favourite romantinc spot in Paris.

Fluctuat nec mergitur means "Floats, does not sink" in Latin (literally, "fluctuates,
not submerges"). The prettiest translation is "tossed by the waves, she does not sink."
This phrase is the motto of Paris, and is present in the city coat of arms
depicting a ship floating on a rough sea.

From the Mirabeau Bridge one can see the replica of the Statue of Liberty,
the giant original of which is in New York.
